This is a vibrant and graphic African American made one-patch quilt top. It came from east Texas. It is hand pieced from cotton fabrics in a variety of weaves and surfaces. The age is from the middle of the 20th century, made from older fabrics. It measures 85” by 74”, and is in excellent, unwashed condition. The striking color play looks great on a wall or a bed.
